Panic At King Of Prussia Mall After Gun Fired In Man's Pants

Upper Merion police dashed to the King of Prussia mall on Tuesday, Aug. 15 after hearing reports of gunfire, the department said in a release.

Now, investigators believe it was an accident. 

Authorities say they arrived shortly after 7 p.m. and quickly determined "there was no further threat to visitors to the mall."

Instead, police think a firearm in a shopper's pants went off unintentionally. 

No injuries were reported and authorities are still looking for the culprit.
